Ellen Hoke Babb, Managing Attorney
Ellen Hoke Babb was born in Greenville, South Carolina. A second generation attorney, Ms. Babb understands clients’ need compassionate results driven attorneys representing them. Ms. Babb studied at East China Normal University in Shanghai, China. She graduated with honors from Mercer Law School with an Advanced Legal Research, Drafting and Writing Certificate. While attending Mercer, she was on the American Bar Association Negotiation Team. Ms. Babb completed her undergraduate degree at Furman University. While a student at Furman, Ms. Babb presented a paper on The Effects of Signs on Pro-social Behavior to the Carolinas Conference/National Conference on Undergraduate Research.
Ms. Babb is a Certified Family Court Mediator and Private Guardian ad Litem. She successfully litigates cases in Civil and Family Court.

Hope Grant, Attorney
Hope Grant was born and raised in Wendell, North Carolina. Ms. Grant graduated cum laude from North Carolina State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Textile and Apparel Technology and Management. As an Institute of Textile Technology Fellow, Ms. Grant went on to receive a Master of Science in Textile Technology from North Carolina State University in 2005. Ms. Grant worked in supply chain for Hanesbrands, Inc. from 2005-2007.
Ms. Grant attended the Charleston School of Law where she graduated cum laude in 2010. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Grant served as the law clerk to the Honorable Deadra L. Jefferson from 2010-2012. Ms. Grant began working with Babb Law Firm in October, 2012 primarily practicing in the areas of Family Law, DSS defense, and Probate.
